TechFest 2012
We are going to be hosting a table at the TechFest on February 18th and 19th. It is held at Sinclair Community College Ponitz Center Building 12 in Downtown Dayton. The GPS address for the David Ponitz Center (Building 12) is 301 West Fourth Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402
Volunteer Spot is going to be used to organize the volunteer sign ups and shifts. The Volunteers will be able to see who else has signed up for the shifts so if you wish to go with a friend you will be able to see their information as well. Volunteers needed for 2-3 hour shifts that would go between: 18th from 10am – 5pm (Saturday) 19th from 11am – 4pm (Sunday) Anita Gilkey (anita.gilkey@sinclair.edu) is the point person for questions. She’ll contact the volunteers for preferences to days/shifts. Location still Building 12, Atrium. We are doing our famous;-) cereal demonstration plus will have calipers set up for kids to measure all kinds of things! |
This is a great demonstration for the kids and they have a good time. The shift goes by very quickly. Sandy Feola sent me the instructions for the Cereal Demonstration below:
